Due to unforeseen circumstances, Blooms & Brunch at Bryll’s Brookside Farm has been cancelled.

We look forward to celebrating spring with you at our farm stand!

We will be open each weekend this spring starting April 15th while our flowers are in bloom. There you will find our classic grab and go daffodil and tulip bouquets, among other flower arrangements.

Christmas at Brookside

Start your Christmas festivities at Brookside this year! We invite you to come tour our over 200 year old home. Learn the history of the house and marvel at its unique details while sipping cocoa or a cocktail. View the gingerbread houses from our first, Connecticut in Gingerbread competition, and shop our Christmas Store of centerpieces, baked goods, and other small gifts.

Tickets are $30 for adults, $15 for children (ages 5-16), $5 for children (ages 1-4). Infants under 1 are free. All paid tickets receive a wagon ride, tour, and drink ticket. Tickets are time slotted and limited so purchase them today at the link below!

Connecticut in Gingerbread

Get creative this holiday and show your talents at Connecticut in Gingerbread, a confectionery competition hosted by Bryll’s Brookside Farm. All are encouraged to create a gingerbread house of their favorite homes and buildings in Connecticut! Houses will be on display at the Christmas at Brookside event for all to view. There will also be a virtual showcase of the submitted houses.

Sign up deadline is December 8th. House drop off is on December 10th. Houses will be on display at December 17th and 18th during the Christmas at Brookside event. Each house submission will receive one free ticket to tour the house on December 17th or 18th.

Competition Rules:

1. Gingerbread houses are to be designed after a building found in the state of Connecticut. Historical homes and buildings are encouraged, but not required.

2. Gingerbread structures must be made of edible materials. No electric lights or additions are allowed!

3. Gingerbread structures must be built on a foundation board NO LARGER than 18"x18". Make sure the board is sturdy and can hold your structure during transport.

4. Gingerbread structures must be dropped off at Bryll's Brookside Farm on December 10, 2022 between 10 AM- 4 PM in a sealed plastic tote or container labeled with your name and contact information.

5. All entries will be on display during the Christmas at Brookside event the weekend of December 17th and 18th. Entries will also be shared in a virtual exhibit online.

6. Brookside is not responsible for damaged or broken gingerbread houses, and will not maintain or repair entries.

7. Christmas at Brookside attendees will select a guest favorite.

8. Each gingerbread house submission will receive ONE (1) FREE ticket for Christmas at Brookside. If you have already purchased your ticket or plan on purchasing a ticket to reserve a specific time slot with family and friends, we will provide full reimbursement for ONE (1) ticket when a gingerbread house is delivered on December 10, 2022 between the hours of 10 AM- 4 PM.

Christmas at Brookside

December 17th and 18th, 2022

Brookside opened its door and showed off its amazing architecture. Visitors learned the history of the house and marveled at its unique details while sipping cocoa or a cocktail. The gingerbread houses competition was a huge success with 10 homemade Connecticut buildings displayed in our first, Connecticut in Gingerbread competition.
